Landowners, please act now to preserve your farm. Please contact the Centre County Farmland Trust for details.

The Centre County Farmland Trust works with willing farm families to place a conservation easement on their farmlands, ensuring that the land is preserved for agricultural purposes forever, regardless of future ownership.
The Trust was founded in 1996 by local citizens
who desired to preserve the unique agricultural land in Centre County from growing development
pressure.
Conservation easements allow farm owners to preserve their farms and perpetuate the agricultural
way of life while maintaining ownership of their land. more info
The Enhanced Easement Incentive was just extended through 2013 with the "fiscal cliff" package,
but donors must act fast, as it could expire again on December 31, 2013. If you are interested in donating an Agricultural Conservation Easement on
your property, contact the Centre County Farmland Trust today!
Information about Easements can be found here. Information about the
newest Tax Incentives can be found here.
